I know this is a VERY late post, but I'm slowly trying to catch up with my blogging. We celebrated Christmas with my family on Christmas Eve. It worked out well because we could still have our first "family" Christmas at our house on Christmas morning. (Hopefully I will blog that soon!) Anyways... we loaded Eli in the car as soon as he woke up Christmas Eve morning jammies and all. We had a yummy breakfast at Mom and Dad's and then gathered in the family room for a devotional lead by my Dad. This has always been a tradition with my family. We used to take turns leading the devotional, but now since grand kids have come into the picture, Dad usually leads the devotion while Mom supervises the flannel graph story. It was fun to see Eli interact with the story this year, and Zach was so patient as Eli would take a sheep and put it floating in the air. Zach would put the sheep back on the ground and Eli would take it off again:) When the devotional was over, we opened presents and then enjoyed a YUMMY lunch! What a special Christmas with my family!
